I have been in my IVA since September 2007 and all is going pretty well. Contact with my creditors stopped very quickly yet today 20 months in I have recieved a statement from Halifax, obviously I will forward this to my supervisor but has anyone else come across this situation, have to say it shook me up a bit seeing the envelope!
It's a new thing which came into force last year whereby the creditors have to send a statement out once a year.
You can ignore it.

I just know that it was some new regulations that came out last year. It would be a bit of a shock though!

Youre not kidding about being a shock specially as its just a standard statement, no mention of just being for information only and even asks for the full balance to be paid by 22nd May 2009, although no interest is being added.
It won't say for information only - I can understand the shock though when it asks for payment!
I've not had one yet, but I suppose one will be popping through my letter box soon!

Yes, my husband has had one of those & they had even added interest aswell?!?!?
I just forward it to my IVA firm & left it at that.
One of my creditors which was Alliance & Leicester whom we had a joint loan & over draft with, Failed to note that we had both gone into an IVA & only took it my Husband was entering in a IVA. So I got loads of demands, default notices until I worked it out that they had not put me down - silly sausages!!
Another one of my creditors "Barclays" did not vote & are not on the list of my creditors on my voting report. The sold the debt onto another firm & the firm wrote to me to inform me & I need do nothing. Should I be concerned that they were not on my vote report?
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Mrs K - don't be concerned. They are bound by the IVA regardless of whether they voted or not.
Barclaycard didn't vote for me either and the debt was passed on to Max Recovery who sent me a similar letter.
David - I'm sure Melanie will comment later, but as your meeting is so close now, I wouldn't bother sending them to her unless she says otherwise.
