Yippeee !

Thank you Gordon Brown for screwing up the economy ! My parents will be losing no interest by lending me the money to clear my IVA !!

I made the offer at the end of March and the variation meeting was today and they accepted !!!

I recently started a new job that I was told would be temp to perm within 4 - 5 weeks. I've now been told that could be up to 6 months and having just had a tummy bug and Easter and looking forward to yet another unpaid day a week on Monday, it's come at the right time.

I'm now celebrating with the bottle of champagne they gave me when I left my old job !!!!

Good luck to anyone else that's thinking of proposing a F&F. Offer at least what you agreed to pay back and they will give it serious consideration.

Great way to start a weekend !!!

[:D]

well done. I am really pleased for another positive outcome. It really has been a fantastic week of celebrations which I am sure has lifted everyone starting or in the IVA journey.

Thank you everyone. I'm really looking forward to being able to save for things I need now !

Maybe a holiday or some furniture or even paying someone to decorate instead of the usualy DIY efforts !!!!

LOL

No worries there David !!! I can't believe how much my spending habits have changed. I've got a wedding at the end of May and was looking for a jacket, shoes and bag to go with a dress and there was a helpful lady in John Lewis who suggested that because the dress was so long, there would be no point in buying shoes because you'd never see them anyway ! Good thinking I reckoned !

I just want to spend time restoring my credit rating and upgrading my bank account so I can have a Switch card instead of an Electron because not all places take them (silly people !).

Today is the start of my new life !
