Glad it went well and this should be helpful to others in the same situation. Many are put off bankruptcy through fear of the courts and your story will hopefully ease their worries.

I also went BR today. I also could not believe how understanding and nice the staff were. The bankruptcy clerk told me that ( as Michael People states) "things have changed , no one is here to punish and blame but this will be a fresh start for you. I see people all the time come into Court with the weight of the world on them and leave with the burden lifted". he was a gem as was the first phone call with the ORs office.
He also told me that the rules are changing next week and it will not automtically be published in local paper bit late for,me but this will be a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Is this so. Are they to stop advertising BR in local papers and probably only maintain the advert in the gazette

Glad your court date went well to Jripley - I'm sure if BR wasn't published in local papers, more people would go BR.

Has anyone got anymore on info on this??

Hi Has anyone heard anything else on the matter of BR not being published in local papers from the 6th April.

Thanks
