Hi all

Last week my creditors meeting was adjourned for a week as Tix (Insolvency Exchange) representing Northern Rock, M&S and Capital One rejected my proposal. As it stands I only have 60% so I need to get some of these on side.

I thought if a creditor didn't vote it was counted as a yes, but apparently if they don't vote, thats it, they just count as nothing! A few of mine haven't voted.

My meeting is scheduled for 10:00 today, so I'll wait and see. Its over my school fees for the children, so hopefully they will accept my new proposal of an increased payment and an extra year!

If they don't, I will probably have to go back to drawing board and re-do my I&E because my wife will probably have to change jobs for logistics purposes as she couldn't get the kids to a new school and work the same hours. Therefore our income and DI will drop.

I'll keep you posted. Apparently, I can be adjourned today another week but hopefully it won't come to that.

Nothing as yet. Looks like it be adjourned for another week.[:(]

Another week of BCard phoning me 20 times a day I suppose!!! I haven't heard from any of my other creditors apart from Bcard!
There automated messages are so annoying!!!

If they say no, then it will be back to the drawing board! I'll let you know if my IP hears anything today!

What a trying time you are having.

If you've not heard anything towards the end of the day, why not give your IP a ring to see if they have any news for you.

I spoke to my IP this morning and have been told she doesn't think she'll hear from them. She has chased them but they say its in the pipeline with everyone elses!!!!

She said soon as she hears something she'll call me.

I guess I'll just have sit and wait (probably until next Monday!!!)

Never mind, I suppose the longer it takes, the longer I don't pay them and I can save a little contingency up.

I always try to look on the bright side!!![:)]

I hope it's good news next week.

At least you will know one way or the other by then, but what a pain having to wait even longer.

Oh no, I was really hoping you had some positive news[:0]

It must be agony waiting and I am glad you can see the bright side, as I think I would be a nervous wreck.

On the positive though, they must be considering it and I would hope your IP is trying their best for you.

Good Luck

I was hoping I would get it all sorted but no such joy!!! Adjourned until next week.

I have to look on the brightside, otherwise I would probably go insane with nerves and worry!!

I'll wait for them to decide and move on from there. I have worked out with my IP that should I remove the kids from school, the dividend paid to the creditors would be less than if I keep them in. Surely Creditors can see this?!!!! She has put this to them, so hopefully they will see sense.

I'll keep you all updated on how things pan out.
