Good luck with the application Sam, and do let us know the eventual outcome.

Hi Sam - good luck for March, hubby's date is Feb 9th so we're at the stage.

I'm sure skippy uses co-op bank account, but she'll confirm that for you.

xx

Thanks FD - had the house valued today, confirmed its in negative equity, so hopefully we'll be able to stay put.

Just wish this nightmare was over.

You should be ok Julie. At least you can stay put!

The co-op cashminder is an excellent account, you can register for online banking set up DD's and always get thru to a live speaking northern person lol (no offence intended to anyone).

I opened mine over a year prior to BR as was in an IVA which failed I spoke to Co-op to advise them of what was going on and they said they would not freeze the account, to which they kept their words. Really rate Co-op I even got a second account with them after BR to seperate my bills from the day to day stuff.

Hope this helps and good luck, you will need to ring and ask specifically for a cashminder account, which will probably automatically get deferred but you will be approved usually within 48 hrs and would think you would have welcome pack within the week.

take care

I've been using the Co-op Cashminder account and it's a good account. The Co-op customer service is very good, and the only bad thing I will say about them is they won't open a savings account for someone who is BR.
