Hi guys its been ages since i have been on here, was just after a little advice from anyone who has gone on maternity leave whilst in a IVA what did ur IP do to help any advice would be great thanks xxx
im not in my matrnity yet and will not be till next march 09, was just trying to get heads up on what other people have done and what IP can do to help
Hi
Let your IP know as soon as possible, when your income reduces your IP can usually agree to reduced payments into your IVA or to suspend payments.Depending on the figures they may or may not have to hold a variation meeting with your creditors.
This is a common occurance and both your IP and creditors should beboth helpful and sympathetic.
Finally congratulations on your good news
Regards
Probably would need a variation, unless already included in your original proposal specifically, or your Supervisor has discretion (as a term of original proposal). peak to your IP as soon as possible - should not be a problem.
