Hi there - futher to James & Kallis' posts - not only have I met her, I work for her! and I can completely agree with the comments put here and on other posts on this forum - she is always available for her clients. I can honestly say that each and everyone of her clients comes first, and unlike a lot of IP's out there she is always available to them, if not right at that minute, she will always ring back. I am often suprised at posts where people have no idea who their IP is and maybe a year or two into an IVA and never spoken to them ! bizarre - why do people trust their financial lives and futures into the hands of someone they have never met or spoken to? beats me. I have worked for a number of IP's over the years and have never come across another willing to put the hours or dedication in that she does, she puts us all to shame with the hours she works, I often get an email in the early hours of the morning! (makes me feel guilty not being able to reply)
I'm not one to give praise unless its really due and in Mels case it is well deserved - and from my perspective she's a great boss too! I am one of the lucky few who can honestly say they love their job.
Great post Melanie. Should give confidence to anyone on here who has just started with your firm and hope to anyone hovering about wondering what to do.
Must admit, not spoken to my IP since starting my IVA (haven't needed to though to be honest), we do have a case worker who phones us every so often but that's all.
