I really haven't plucked up the courage to look at mine yet ... I really must soon.

I keep hitting wrong buttons tonight and freezing things ... so that I have to go back and re-type them!

I did annual credit report, and mine is a sea of red!

Can't do credit expert as I can't afford the fee!

Kallis, ironically enough one of the loan companies I originally borrowed from lost my details "in error" so gave me free access to Credit Expert - not much of a consolation but at least I can keep track of my very very bad credit file x

That was good then.

I used to be a fully paid up member and check religiously. That's run out now and I can't even have the free trial anymore.

I'd like to have a look at it though. Annual credit report is ok, but not as detailed.

I applied for the £2 statutory reports so that I could tidy up my credit files - they made depressing reading!

I'll probably wait until I've finished my IVA and check then. I used to be paranoid about having my details stolen (I've had two credit cards cloned in the past), but I doubt that will happen at the moment - good luck to anyone who manages to get any credit on my file!!!!!!!

I only did it as I wanted to get the accounts marked as settled. I'm quite glad I did as apparently I've got an alias and I've been bankrupt in 2 courts, so a bit of tidying up to do!

It's worth having a look - Barclaycard sold my debt to Max Recovery and now it's on the report twice, so it looks as though I owed more than I actually did.

In a strange sort of way I'm quite enjoying it - it's giving me something to get my teeth into! Natwest, Littlewoods (surprisingly!), Egg loan and Egg card have all played ball and marked my accounts as partially settled. I've got letters to Max Recovery, Next, Barclaycard and Tesco (could be fun!) ready to go. I've queried my alias with Equifax, and Callcredit are next on my hit list!

Yes Skip in your circumstances I can see that it would be something to get your teeth into, sort out. Good luck with it.

I am coming at it from a different angle, not wanting to get too deep, I am desperately trying to move on from this chapter in my life, close the door and walk away. I dont want to open any dark cupboards, they can stay closed.
