Hi Kallis
The thing that worries me is if a debt management is worked out for my husband there will not be enough money for an iva for me.
I think our dividend was 17p in the pound. although his debts are nothing compared to mine.

looking forward to a better future

Who is your IP Sharon? Have you got any idea when they will get back to you?

Was that 17p each? If I remember rightly, yours was rejected because you hadn't had the loan long enough?

If so, I would hope that you would be able to do DMP/IVA and then perhaps try for a further IVA down the line.

I am sure your IP will work something out for you.

Sharon, I'm really sorry, there will be a way forward. Something will have to be sorted to accomodate both payments. Perhaps Melanie will advise as best she can on what might happen. Thinking of you. X

I know this must be horrible for you and the fact that you are not going to hear anything until next week is a right pain. Hang on for Melanie, Ian or Size5, they may be able to give their opinion on the situation. I know that doesn't really help but keep posting and we'll get you through it. X

Your IP should be dealing with this now for you, not next week. And there is no reason why your IVA should not go through if they have sufficient votes. What level of contribution were you going to make on a combined basis?

Hi melanie
sorry i have just looked at the paperwork again and it is a dividend of 29 pence in the pound and our paperwork both states the same.

The person i spoke to said she had to wait for the paperwork to be signed and then speak to my ip about it.

Hang on in there Sharon ... I know that it probably doesn't seem like it at the moment but there WILL be a solution.
