Glad he's ok Paul - you can cope with the bad back, as long as the beloved pets are sorted that's good enough for me!!!!!!

I'm so sorry Paul I've only just caught up with this. I'm glad he's on the mend as it's so worrying when they are ill x

He does seem better but trying to keep a chocolate lab calm or walkies is nigh on impossible!! He was trying to chase a blackbird this morning while on a very short leash!!

Smeg back to vets yesterday for results and all ok no baddies. She seems to be getting better now and is eating us out of house and home, but only the best for her.She has to go back on the 18 July to see if steroid jab worked its magic and if she will need any more.

Great news Carole, glad she is ok. The fact that she is eating is an excellent sign. Hope she continues to improve.

Thanks Lesley, she was such a joy to have around. When she came her owner was thinking of sending her back because she was over excited and did not fit in at her house and went round biting everyone, however I decided that she would be calm and peaceful here discovered a real sweetie underneath, she was housetrained in a day and took herself off to bed at 9pm! When friend came for her I think she was shocked, but took it all on board, afterall you can't treat a small pup like grown dog. I couldn't put this on FB just in case!!!

Puppies do like biting as well! It's only natural. My little Russell still likes to bite peoples noses (if she can get at them!) and she's 2 now!

Puppies are teething so they chew and bite, how very true a puppy is to be treated as you would a child and adult dog is an adult....simple x

That's why when I get my dog it won't be a puppy! I want one that's fully house trained! That was also the reason that we got an adult cat rather than a kitten!

Another reason is that there are so many older animals needing a home that it's a shame that people can't look past the cute puppies and kittens and give an older animal a forever home.
