I know all about selfpity moments!

It really does do you good posting on here, it is a kind of therapy. I have had some really low moments - I cry on the way to work, I cry at work, and I cry in the shower! Basically I cry all the time. The first time I spoke to Melanie Giles I got 2 words out then cried and had to pass the phone to other half.

Sometime space and time on your own are good, and it is good that you get out to friends etc, but I know what you mean about being at home. When I was with my mum I wanted to be 'normal' and have nice time in the place where I was supposed to feel safe and comfortable - my home. No matter if I was sat chilling I was always slightly on edge 'just in case'. It was n't nice. This is exactly another reason why br would be an additional wrench as for once I feel like I'm at home and settled apart from the obvious financial problem. We chose IVA as I think to have to move would send me over the edge. I also have a huge feeling of guilt to all the people who have loaned us money in good faith and if we can I would like to try and pay most if not all of the money back. A DMP wouldn't really work as I get far too stressed out far too easily and I know it would fail, merely for the fact that I will probably get signed off work.
Melanie and her team are seeing me through, I still have a 'wobble' every now and again but it is comforting knowing that I can log on here and know that if Mel is not about then somebody will be, to help and support me. I like Mel's team as they too are human and can admit when minor mistakes/understandings happen - this fills me with confidence.

I hope you can get through the next few weeks.

Thinking of you and feel free to get in touch - not a problem.

xx[:)]

Elizabeth ... what part of the country are you in? Could you get along to any of the "Frugal Friends" evenings ... sounds like you do with having some time out with likeminded people [:)]

Well Marie, I gave up trying to get "that" thread to the top! [:D] I got my application through for the CAB volunteering so if I get into that there are great training courses they do and I'll also get to do hands on advising. I've looked on web for IVA advisor etc and lots advertised all in either Manchester or Bury but as you know, much rather work for someone I know...hint hint! [;)] Unfortunately can't do anything until restaurant sells.[:(] Thanks for thinking of me. Viki X

Your welcome.

Our local colleges do free courses in the evenings. They do counselling, crafts, child care type courses and things like that. I have done quite a few - they keep me out of trouble lol!
I hope your restaurant sells soon. What kind of restaurant is it? I know it probably sells food before any 'smart' comments come back hee hee.

It's a tapas restaurant but it's not all spanish, just small dishes of all sorts, fajitas, calamari etc. When I first opened 8 and a half years ago there weren't a lot of that type of restaurant but now everyone is doing tapas!...there is even a restaurant down the road from me that does Indian tapas! (probably fabulous actually but you know what I mean) I used to sign up for night school courses all the time, every September, but I never completed any of them...I even did Belly Dancing! I can cook the whole menu Barb but when I come home I can't cook anything! How strange. Yeah the Belly dancing was a bit of a let down really, just swing your hips in a figure of eight and you've got it, not really much else....apart from the costume! now you can have fun with that one! Plenty of baubles and bells! [:D] Viki X
