Melanie, in the event there is an amount of rejected creditor payments left at the end of month 72, would this be allocated to other creditors? Would whoever has rejected the payments be given a set amount of time to accept them? I could imagine this could hold up a completion?

It depends on the terms of your own particular agreement, but it is usually the case that unclaimed funds are shared amoungst the other creditors. IPs should really get all claims agreed within the first year of an IVA - and the IVA Protocol states within four months from the date of approval.

I finished in March and was told 3 months and still nothing. They have not had the decency to give me an update. I have to chase them but I really think they are taking the #### now :-(

I am wondering why Gemma from Payplan does not appear to be posting much on the forum at the moment. Perhaps you could contact her directly to she if she can intervene in your case. She has helped many Payplan clients in the past and I am sure she would want to help resolve your query if she can.

Hi

Both Payplan and DFD seem to have withdrawn from the forum recently, I wonder if the closure and PPI questions have become a little too much?
Three cheers for Karol from Grant Thornton though, she has put on her tin hat and is weathering the storm

They are probably steering clear as I am dismayed to think that they maybe making claims without authorisation from the debtor! I thought this was unlawful!!

It's a pity they don't stick around as their help in invaluable on here. I know they take some flack but of course it's not personal.

I agree that Karol is doing a great job and is always around when GT clients need her.

Ok, anyone looking for closure - I think we need to give them a few more weeks. They are really trying their best but their HMRC stuff is proving problematic. Not sure why but I'm giving them the benefit of my doubt. They always have for me! Fingers crossed!
