So sorry to hear that, as it seemed you had a very good deal there. I hate to see people being gazumped when they have made a good offer for a property - it happened to me when I bought my current property - especially when you have had to shell out for legal costs. Give my team a call tomorrow to explain what has happened, and if you need to miss any payments we will understand. Some people are just too greedy - and at times like this I do wish we followed the Scottish system of buying property more - where gazumping is not allowed once an offer has been accepted.

Thanks Melanie i will do. One more week and it would have been sorted and my iva paid off. I nearly used some polish swear words on them when they rung. Totally gutted.

I would have used some English ones, had I been in your position.

If you had the option would you pay the higher price for the flat?

My main priority is to pay my iva off but yes the flat is worth the higher price but i cant afford the extra and pay iva.It would mean i would be about £3000 short of paying my iva off in full.
