I don't think that the IP will notify the credit agencies, you will have to do this yourself if you want to
Personally I would do nothing, just keep your CC safe and allow the six year time term for the IVA to drop off your various credit files
I thought the IP informed the agencies that the IVA was either satisfied or complete?

They inform the online insolvency register so that a record of your IVA is removed, I do not believe that they contact the three credit reference agencies
It will be an update from the insolvency register.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
When I got my CC, the accompanying letter stated that the Ip would notify the insolvency service, but it suggested that I should send a copy to the credit rating agencies and it also included the addresses of each one. My default dates are all at the time my iva was agreed, so I'm presuming it will just drop off at the 6 year mark anyway?
You can ask them to update your records personally but it will have little impact until the 6th anniversary ... I would let things just happen if it were me.
