thanks kall, i've found this board such a help. it's the only place i feel i can really "talk". at one point i got very low, felt it'd be better if i weren't here but i'm better and not feeling that now although quite weepy. it's been such a shock.
we've had a whole day without arguing today! nice as it's my husbands birthday. we had wine in the cupboard, bought some reduced price steak in asda reduced from £5.60 down to £1.70,chunky chips and veg, then crumble and custard for pud instead of going out. lovely!
thankyou all x

Sounds fab! We had a chinese takeaway for hubby yesterday as it was his birthday.
I love it when we can do cheap! If you ever need to talk offline then please let me know. I'm always there.

I know what you mean about not sleeping, it is a very stressful and worrying time. You've picked an excellent team to represent you and the forum is always here for advice and support.
I'm sure it will all come together soon.

rosepetal it does get easier hun, trust me, the first day i picked up the phone and spoke to tina I felt sick, my stomach was flipping so much, i was in actual physical pain. within a week tina had told me that melanie thought it viable for an IVA and that put me at ease.
I used an a4 notebook and wrote everything down as I needed to, lists of jobs to do, questions to ask and everytime I spoke to someone regarding anything to do with the IVA (even estate agents) I wrote notes. that way it kept it all straight in my mind.
Today we were accepted and our journey begins.
If you add me on frugal friends, I'll add you and then we can email each other, swap mobiles if you'd like. i would be happy to help you with anything.
Frugal Friends is on your profile page near the bottom, look for my name and press add.
thanks kall. both better now paerwork is ready. thanks leaky, still can't fathom it,tired will look again tomorrow. bet you wake up with a smile tomorrow, esp. when you realise it wasn't a dream! keep smiling x

I know you've probably signed off but will put how to here anyway, I know its already been put but I'll try too. took me awhile to figure it LOL
At the top of this thread page, within this blue box, there is a set of tabs, one of them says profile. Click on it. It will ask for your password as sign in.
this will take you to your profile page where you can write the 'about me' bit. near the bottom of the page there is a drop down list that says 'frugal friends' you click on the drop down, look for the name of the person you want to add, highlight their name and then click the grey button underneath that says add as frugal friend.
When you want to contact that person you can click ontheir avatar in your list and this will give you an email option.
I remember going through the process of starting the IVA and feeling all over the place. But as soon as I knew it had been accepted and the first payment had been made I felt so relaxed. x
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!
