Hi All.

Got home from work today to find a parcel waiting for me from Forbidden Planet. My daughter is a big fan of Dr Who and collects the figures. Before xmas last year we ordered some figures from Forbidden Planet, the majority of which arrived in time for xmas. Anyway, we forgot about it until today. Trouble is, they have sent this outstanding figure and charged to my credit card, which is over limit and I have been told not to use it. This is going to look bad on my part. They will think I have been using the card when I am telling them that I can't pay them. I'm going to have to send it back if they will take it, but if they don't do you think this will jeopardise my IVA? I'm really annoyed that I forgot about this but it's been over 7 months since I placed the order.
Carl.

If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of credit card payments!!!

Get in touch with your ip and explain before they pick up on it. Then contact Forbidden Planet and ask them if the figure got lost in a timewarp!!! lol
It's nice to be back......

Hi Mel.
It's £6.25.

I would send a cheque for £6.25 to cover the item to your credit card company and let your daughter enjoy it. The amount is immaterial in the great big scheme of things.

We don't have a cheque book since changing bank accounts. It's Bank of Scotland and they have been the worst callers. Could I make a token payment against the last statement?

Thanks Skippy. Hadn't thought of that. I suppose Nationwide could do a counter cheque or something as well couldn't they?
