Hi All

I have a Tuxedo card and twice now I have had to chase money that I have transfered from my bank account as it hasn't been credited on the Tuxedo Card. The last time I transfered £150 on 25th August and have been trying to find out where the money is all week. Their system has been down most of thew week. However today I finally got it settled and the money will be credited to my card tomorrow!! No apology or explanation was given re the delay.

The first time it happened I paid money i through Barclay's bank so its not just transferring money
Just for people to be aware-- perhaps I have just been unlucky.

Hi Jan

I'm not sure ... but I think Skippy might have had some similar problems with Tuxedo.

I have been with Cashplus now for two years and everything has been fine. Although I have never transferred money from my bank account onto the card, I feel much safer going to the local post office just up the road, withdrawing the money form my bank via the cashpoint and loading it onto my Cashplus card free of charge at the Post office!

I haven't had any problems loading money onto my Tuxedo card. I've loaded it at the Post Office and by bank transfer and my only complaint is bank transfer takes 4 days. I'm quite happy with it, and as I can't have a Cashplus card I'll be sticking with it.

Sorry you've had problems Jan, hopefully it'll run smoothly from now on x

I haven't used it yet as I had a problem loading money on it. I'm a bit broke at the moment but I might try it after payday!

I also have a Tuxedo card and it seems to be ok so far (even used abroad). I once had a muissing deposit query and their customer services was helpful & e-mailed me the following message:

"...please mention your 9 digits reference number on the reference field whilst transferring funds to ensure your card eccount is credited directly.

Should you require further assistance please feel free to contact Customer Care on 0207 101 6598 (Monday to Sunday between 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs) alternatively you can email us at customercare@tuxedocard.com"
Hope this is helpful?

I have a couple of problems with money not being deposited from a transfer from my bank which had all the account/reference numbers however once I phoned them things were sorted quickly.
