If you need urgent dental treatment, then I would be asking your IP if you can miss one payment to pay for it - or at least part of a payment.

Your income and expenditure account has complexities which I have already appraised you of directly, and I feel that you either need to come to agreement with your IP regarding your daughter's college expenditure or ask them to seek directions from the creditors.

Thanks Melanie but I would feel a bit cheeky doing that. i am staring to get worried now as my case manager called yesterday and left a message. She didnt sound very happy. I cant call her until I get home today. I cant just ring NI from work. I hope she is optimistic.

It doesn't cost any more to ring NI than it does to call any other number in England or Wales. Your case manager is aware that you have a problem which you need sorting. i would try and ring her as an absolute priority during your lunch hour or after work.

Dont forget - a call to Northern Ireland only costs the same as a call to any other UK destination. It is not an International call.

Sorry - just noticed I duplicated Melanies reply.

Keep us informed of the outcome, and at the end of the day do bear in mind that your daughter's future might be more important that paying off your creditors. Make sure you get a draft of the variation report prior to it being issued, so that you can see if the IP is recommending the offer. An IP's recommendation will go some way to getting a "Yes" vote on the day.

How long would it take for a creditors meeting to take place?

Julia - these are questions you really have to ask your case manager directly.

is it unusual not to have an equity clause? What does it mean if you do not?
