Not even! The stereo ist kaputt! And it ate my Rihanna CD. I had permission from my IP 18 months ago to lease a car but my boyfriend was going to buy it on HP and I'm a bit nervous about him taking on credit and me paying him. The time has come though...

I have to agree about the PDL puppet adverts they are clearly targeting the OAP market no doubt, I don't like them.

Vanquis appear to have a standard procedure where they contact anyone who applies for a card over the phone. Never went down the Vanquis route personally I decided to wait a year, got declined by my bank Lloyds TSB and accepted by Barclaycard.

Just to add to the Barclaycard post, I got the same percentage chances of being accepted and waited until the credit file was clean. I then applied for the zero percent card and was accepted straight away. It may be worth applying to them if you've not had any problems with them in the past.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

I don't like a lot of the adverts for PPI claims and payday loans etc that you see on TV. They are far too hard sell and deliberately targeting vulnerable groups. DFD are fighting back with a very good ad though!

The normal payday loans and PPPI claims etc; we can ignore. It's just using OAP's to adverise loans that we find disturbing.
