My full & final settlement was accepted on 9th Sept (5 weeks ago), I've read on here that it can take around 3 months for the completion certificate but I want to email my case officer to give them a gentle poke!

I was going to ask if the funds had been distributed to my creditors yet and if so when I could expect to receive the completion certificate. Is that the correct 'timeline', is that how it works? ie Funds distributed then certificate issued or is there a stage inbetween?

Thanks for any input :)

Perhaps 3 months is a bit too optomistic then!

I always try and do mine immediately after the creditors meeting - well you have to file a chairman's report, so you may as well go the whole hog and send out a closure report at the same time.

Thanks Melanie, is the 'closure report' something different to the completion certificate?

When my F&F was accepted all I got was a letter explaining who to make the cheque payable, along with a copy of the 'chairman's report'. There was no mention of any further processes so I don't want to sound like a numpty, asking for something that doesn't exist or something that isn't part of the IVA procedure, when I email them!

No you should get a closure report at the same time that your Certificate of Due Completion is issued.

Hopefully the last distribution has been made to creditors and your IP is just waiting for confirmation that payments have been received so that they are satified that matters are concluded and can report the same in the closure report.

Hope your certificate arrives shortly.
