hi lem,
i am sure your iva will be accepted on the 16th and you will manage just fine.
there is no way i could now afford many of the things i would have bought on a credit card, but strangely it doesn't matter, i don't even want those things anymore. my home, my peace of mind and my happiness is worth so much more. and as for christmas if i can work a few extra hours here and there to earn a little more cash, then great, but if not, then what i don't have i cant give and thats that. I know my daughter will not go without she will have gifts from other family members. and whats more she will have a roof over her head and be surrounded by family who love her. Thats whats important. When i think back at my childhood its days in the park and picnics on the beach and time spent having fun with family that i remember, not the presents i received on christmas and birthdays. and i think for some time there i lost sight of that.

Kat,you are so right,it's giving time that creates love and great memories. we get points for recycling things in our blue dustbin-does your council do this? we've just used some points to buy 1 cream tea get 1 free at a local tea shop- they have child based things too.look out for cheap treats/days out but you can't beat picnics etc.

Judo, i don't find the management of things easy, but i am good at sticking to a budget&being firm with it,my hubby knows how to "manage" statements etc,but he's dreadful with £(he admits this but finds it hard to say). so,we're working things between us together. once our IVA was accepted i spoke to him about re arranging dates, they were all over the place[:(],such a muddle.it's much easer now for me to follow now.
you've come such a long way! well done you x

Hey Rosepetal!
I have in my head how I want to manage things, it just doesn't seem to play out that way at the minute!! lol. It will all come together in the end though.Everything should now come out day after pay day so hopefully I will indeed know my bum from my elbow!
Thanks for you continued support Rosepetal and I hope that everything is fine with you these days! xxx
