Hi

Say for example, your full and final settlement was agreed.
How long do you get to transfer the money across from the persons account who is "giving" you the funds to for example DFD.

So for example I got a call on January 1st that it has been agreed. So that means my monthly payments stop and then I pay for full and final settlement. Just want to know the time scale.

Thanks
Jo.

Hi,
I am with DFD, approached them at end of April with my offer, it was agreed by Creditors on the morning of July 12th ( I then sent the full and final payment cheque on July 12th to DFD)and I am still waiting for mine to be completed.

Really I am of the mind that the answer is how long is a piece of string?

I was originally told 8- 12 weeks from Creditor agreements, then 15 then 18 and now I am at 20 weeks and still no certificate of completion.

Sorry that may not help but I have been told lots of diffrent things, but I know it goes on each individual case

My full and final was presented to creditors 28 days after I contacted DFD. The proposal was accepted, the proposal stated that the funds must be paid in within 3 months and my monthly contributions must continue until funds were paid in. My dad wrote the cheque and sent it in and three weeks later i got my certificate of completion. The secret is to get your IP's details and harrass them until it gets done. I know people who have waited months for their certificate.
