Is there a time limit that an IP should respond to any letters sent to him/her from ourselves regarding queries on our IVA's ?

I would say for common courtesy it should be, say about 2 weeks. Not always the case though it seems. Some wait weeks/months for replies. If it's something important I would advise you to ring them up and ask to speak to your ip, if possible.
It's nice to be back......

Our regulatory body guidelines to best practice indicate that a 7 day turnaround is reasonable. One of the most common complaints made to the regulators comes from unanswered correspondence.

Hi pm5

Do you have your IP's email address as I always find this a quick and convienient way to contact my IP.
If not, ask them for their email and give it a try[:)]

I would try and get it as I think its much more likely to get a quicker response.

I may be going mad here but I think IP's email addresses are lited somewhere on the insolvency register. I may have dreamed I read that in a post, but I am sure someone else will know for sure...

Good luck

Hi

http://www.insolvency-service.co.uk/newipsearch.htm

If you follow the link and enter your IP's name etc you should get a contact email address :-) I found my IP using this after my company (Accuma) ignored me for weeks/months.

I got a reply within the hour

Good luck

That is terrible service dots, i know things can be busy but 4 - 9 weeks for a reply by mail, 3 weeks to never for email & 3 weeks to return a phone call is ridiculous.
