Be strong kat! You're getting sorted and hopefully you'll have your proposal before long.

Just don't let them bully you!

Thanks Kallis3, I'm feeling a lot more positive about our situation now, and it was so good to have 2 nice responses from the creditors and you are right - I will be strong if I get any nasty calls. I'm so glad that we chose Melanie's team, they have been fantastic and I know that they are all doing their best for me and all of their clients xx

I have had 3 calls today from Capital One overseas call centre, I refused to answer their security questions and was told to ring them urgently. I just explained that I have written to them to advise of my position and if they have a backlog of post then it is their problem.. Don't be bullied

TSB were the only ones who voted no at my meeting, and they were one of my smallest creditors.

we too have gone with Melanie's team and I too spoke to Tina exactly a week ago for the first time. I'm now with Tamsin and she is great. so understanding and contstantly telling me not to worry. Cos thats me I'm afraid...a totall worrier.

I've started to get the paperwork together and rang the loan and mortgage companies today for balances and redemption statements. They were both ok about sending them out though i didn't tellthem why.

Tesco is one of our debtors and theirs is the first payment thats due next month which we won't be able to pay as we need to build the contingency for the first iva payment. I must admit i am quite scared about the possible calls, but we have caller ID and have made sure that everyone we would talk to are programmed in to the phone. I'm a coward and so won't be answering the phone.
