My Mum is in hospital so is in a safe place one hopes. Brother is a fair way out of city centre but Mum's place with sister is inner city but so far nowhere near and my son lives a little further out too. Hope everyone anywhere is safe and hope this stops very soon. x

Fingers crossed for them.

I can see this carrying on for some time yet. I remember the riots in the 80's but I've never known it this widespread before.

I miss just not being able to spend when I want to, silly things like some more wool to do some knitting, just general stuff that isn't really expensive but cannot easily be budgeted for.

I know it wont generate any money but I have just found a swap shop site called SWAPZ. It is great and you can swap anything for anything(well within reason)

Skippy, I am only 20 mins from ealing so you must live close-ish to me! I havent slept much this week as there have been a lot of sirens and it is like waiting on the edge for something to happen. Plus I work right in central London. Fingers crossed it will all start to calm down now. It is disgusting what they have been doing and for no reason it seems! x

That must be so worrying for you pod moo. I'm about half hour from Ealing, but I was getting worried it would spread to Feltham and Hounslow, which is getting a bit close to home!

I hope it calms down for you and you can get a good night's sleep xxx

pod_moo - I hope you remain safe where you live and can manage to get into and out of work out.

They are mindless thieves and yobs.

I'd love to think it would but somehow I can't see it.

How awful antm! Can't begin to imagine what it must have been like for them. My thoughts are with them and I hope you don't have any problems tomorrow. I hope they were both ok?

Well then we really must be close skippy as I am in Feltham. It kicked off a little at the young offenders last night but I don't know if it was related? There were a couple of police in the high street tonight but quite quiet really!

Antm - stay staff. It is awful that so many people feel so uncomfortable to just go about our every day lives.

X

Both guys i work with are ok, neither came into work today, we spent the day working previous days deliveries as we locked down the shop last night. Early lock down today and rest of the week, play each day as it goes and we just try and look after our teams, safety is paramount.
