We 'lost' our home when we went br.......I say lost, it doesn't seem that way now. If my hubby is out of work at least our rent will be paid, what a great relief it is knowing that. I don't want to sound as if I'm being flippant about it but the months/years we worried about getting the mortgage paid as we weren't entitled to any help at all when he was out of work. He's a bricklayer and the way things are going with the credit crunch he may only have another 6 weeks left until he is paid off due to there being no work available....people just don't have the money to spend on home improvements and the new-builds have come to a stand still in the north-east. This time last year I would have been frantic with worry, now I think/know we will be ok.
It's nice to be back......

I know what you mean Chris, the building trade is coming to a stand still. My dad is a joiner and is currently working for Urban Splash they too are coming to a stand still.

I have no reason to doubt if our IVA is accepted that it will fail - you never know what is round the corner though. If anything happens then fortunately we have Melanie and her team to turn to and get advice from. I too would have no choice but to consider BR, I could potentially lose my job as a result, but my son has to come first. I am even considering seeing how he goes at school until xmas and if he is still struggling then getting another job to help pay for a tutor - no way do I want him to struggle whilst at school with no extra help.

Stange flitting post sorry got a lot on my mind. XX
