Judo - that's not good! I hope you can get this sorted.

Urrgh. Too far lesley but thankyou.
Jan. I am just unsure of where to go with this. My builder/handyman friend is almost positive it's not subsidence but it is still really bothering me. He told me to leave it a couple of weeks to see if the crack gets any bigger and I can see where he is coming from BUT this is my daughters bedroom.! I might well be reading too much into this but obviously I am reluctant to allow my daughter to spend too much time in a room where the wall appears unstable!
If it were subsidence our Insurance company would require a £1k excess. Where the hell would we get that from?? Ok. I am once again seeing worst case scenario.!!
Sorry for hijacking this thread and sorry for rambling. I must tell myself this will be fine.

Don't worry Judo - we all hijack at some point.

If you do need to do anything then you can ask for a payment break - not ideal to start off but your daughter's safety is more important.

Hey Kieser, not S.K.B, by any chance. I used to work for the B part, for a spell, back in the late 70's, in sunny Worthing.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Ooooo Just catching up!

My Husband is a Head Chef in a large 3 star hotel, hence why I can never stick to diets!

Prior to having my children I was Front of House & Head Receptionist and yes this is where I met my husband!

I am now the Main carer for my parents, Mum, Housewife (slave!) etc!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

I'd love to run a rescue centre for dogs - all of my three are rescue.

Trouble is that I'd be a soft touch and not able to turn anyway!
