Good for you nepensioner! Must admit I can't wait to retire and do absolutely nothing apart from walk the dogs and the odd bit of housework!

Wizzz you do not scrounge!

I was a postman, well, it was better than walking the streets. Then i was a dustbinman, i just picked it up as i went along. I had a spell as a taxi driver but got fed up of people talking behind my back. But truthfully now, as martha and the muffins said, my job is very boring i'm an office clerk.

I am a domestic cleaner and general dogs body. I clean the homes of the idle rich. I dog walk when they cant be bothered and make sure they have clean and ironed clothes. The kids all call me their second mom and I know more about what they get up to than their parents do.The downside to this is the pay.One of the guys I work for said he wouldn't get out of bed for less than £400 an hour,he pays me £8.50 per hour. That is why they get richer and I'm in an IVA.

Carole - not good, but at least you know that you have a much better quality of life than they do!

I am a validation engineer,
I work in a Lab testing solenoid valves to check they work as the company states they do and that they fail in a safe manner.

Ahh ok. The reason I asked is because a rather worrying crack has appeared in my daughters bedroom wall!
Guess I am getting a bit paranoid as the house I want to protect might well fall down around me!

Might be worth getting someone look at it but hopefully it will be ok.If we lived closer we could have got his work colleague to look but I doubt we live near to each other. x

Thanks lesley. We had a friend come round and look at it. He seems to think it is to do with our patio doors in the lounge (underneath my daughters bedroom) he thinks the support above the patio doors has weakened hence the crack in the bedroom wall directly above. I am fairly sure its not subsidence but reading through my insurance I am just not sure if it will be covered! I will get somebody else to come and look at it but it is quite worrying.
I am in the Midlands!
