I would get the scissors out and take your time and enjoy every cut you make through your credit card and cut it up into at least 100 bits and post it to them inside an envelope so that when its opened it falls all over the floor.

Its hard but try not to think about the iva just now, there is nothing you can do to influence things. My fingers will be crossed for you.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Kiki, you've not got long to go, hang in there, I'm sure it will be approved and you will feel so much better. It's horrible, I know, but keep posting on here and we'll all get you through it. X

Hi kiki
Best of luck. We've had the first two phone calls tonight but have already cut up our cards. We've swapped banks and been steadily redirecting direct debits leaving all the CC ones at the old bank - feels like the financial equivalent of doing a moonlight flit. Best of luck.

We never sent any back - I cut them all up before they asked. It was amazing how many gaps I had in the back of my purse! Now slowly filling them again with prepayment certificates and store loyalty cards. Looks good and can't get me into trouble!

Good luck for next Friday as well Kiki, I am sure everything will be ok. I've got everything crossed.

I'm sure that most will agree that the waiting is the worst part, but keep the faith, I am sure your provider will take good care of you and that they would not propose on your behalf if they had any major concerns.
