Luckily it's a corner unit so we can share it! When he first arrived he took a liking to the corner seat but he's now taken up residence at one end so at least Dave and I can sprawl out now!

Unfortunately it's a leather sofa, so we've got it covered up with blankets and towels at the moment so hopefully he won't be able to claw it - so far so good! When he's playing he scratches and bites your hand and arm and Dave told me to let him carry on as my arm will heal whereas the sofa won't - I know my place!

lol, sounds about right! Mine have grown out of that unless there's catnip involved, never get between a cat and his drugs!

just a thought but why is when you put something away safe you can never find it again! my mouse's batteries just died and I can't find the new ones anywhere, had to borrow the remotes. oh well...

Skippy, my cats do not scratch the sofa, none of them ever have, they use my bed instead as its a divan. I was a bit worried about it when I had the babies but they just dont do it. I have two scratch posts which they use too. I think you can spray it with something, the sofa I mean, from the pet shop. I just dont know for sure but mine never have touched the leather sofa.

Whenever my cats scratch me I scream out loud and they stop, Cole just looks at me like I am stupid (like what the bleeding hell you making that noise for? Scaring me like that, I was your munchy mostache boy a minute ago.) but Syra starts licking herself as if to say, that wasnt me I am far too cute.

Your dog is so lovely Emma, how do you get him to pose like that??? Your boys are lovely pixie, but it took me ages to get my cats photo, they just look sorted like a cat food advert on yours, they are naturals.

Carlo in his favourite position!

The trick Lily is to wave treats at them! They are never in the same place unless food is involved! The photo is actually a couple of years old.

We have 4 dogs (a Cocker Spaniel (10), 2 x Lhasa Apsos (5 and 7) and a Cairn Terrier 11 months) and 11 cats: all 15 are rescued, and God only knows how we have survived the past 4.5 years - but we have!!!

Wow desperateneed you have quite a collection there!!

I am absolutely sure my next dog (when money permits) will be a rescue retired greyhound. There are so many of them and lots of people are under the misconception that they are impossible to re home with success. I have many people I know with them and ty make lovely pets[:)]
