just wanted to say a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE thank you to ian millington, a forum expert, who has spoken directly to my IP,Mark Prideaux, on my behalf, to see if he can fix my variation problem, the problem is there isn't a problem !!!! see previous posts if you're as confused as I am !! anyway, Ian is trying to sort it for me and I really appreciate it , as some of us know, being in an IVA is tough when your pride won't allow you to share your situation with even your best mate,so the brave face can slip sometimes, as mine has frequently over the last 2 weeks!!! I sometimes feel like an outsider even in my own group of friends and family,so a lifeline like Ian has thrown to us is just the best feeling!! thank you again Ian,i;ll keep you all posted as to how we get on xx

So the only problem was that your IP wouldn't talk to you and another IP had to step in to make that happen!

Well done to Ian for taking time out of his busy day to sort this out for you - but as another IP I really feel that this sort of thing should not be necessary!

Anyway, glad to see that you have your issue sorted - by whichever route was necessary. I suspect that Ian will be getting rather busier over the next couple of months!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

I agree Melanie, i know how frustrating it is trying to speak to an IP. You would think that for the fees charged they would take the time for even a quick call like you do

i know it was so kind of Ian,he is going to keep in touch with me and let me know how it is going,as obviously my IP doesn't want to deal directly with me , strange, I know but I don't care, just as long as he's telling Ian whats going on and Ian can end this b***** fiasco for us !! x

i know its mad isn't it ....but it seems to be the way with the bigger iva firms ...debt matters have over 3000 clients so i can see the difficulties in speaking to everyone ...nout would get done ...any advice to newwies ...stick with the smaller firms you get a much better deal ..from being on this forum I wish we had x

Theres usually somebody available to take a call but in our experience the right hand didnt seem to know what the left was doing......not really what you want when you are in a state of panic

I dont really mind who I speak to - so long as I remain on track to reach my completion date in 2012!!!
47 months completed - 13 months to go.

I cannot believe that an IP doesn't want to deal directly with one of their clients!
