Hi everyone, I can't believe that we are about to make our 3rd payment, BUT why or why do Tesco Finance still hound us, not for our loan with them, which was thousands, but the credit card which was peanuts. Payplan have been very good and dealt with tesco everytime we have requested. The phone calls did stop eventually last week, we thought the penny had finally dropped, then yesterday a Final notice, termination of agreement, need to pay full outstanding balance immediately, blah blah blah.
Nothing from any other creditor since approval day, just Tesco.
Does anyone else have a bad experience with them ?
The way they hound us down Capello should employ them ! LOL

hello there:) sorry to hear that you are still receiving letters from this creditor, my advise would be to send them to Payplan and let them deal with this matter, there is only so many times you can repeat yourself, bearing in mind everytime you have to call them its costing you money. I am sure if they continue to do this Payplan will get a little more forceful in the matter until the penny finally drops. let us know how you get on

Hi Gettinghelp, I scanned the letter and emailed to Payplan, the silly thing is Tesco was a positive voter at the creditors meeting ! Payplan emailed me back within the hour to say they had dealt with it. I don't speak to Tesco anymore,I am protected they are wasting their time.

good for you, hopefully they will get the message soon enough, I know from gathering the info from the forum that it can take a little while to filter down to the administration/computer side of things and they keep spilling these letters out much to the frustration of the recipients, on a more joyful note, scan them, save them, it will be bonfire night soon enough i am sure they will make a good starting point!

We were having the same sort of problem until recently with Flybe/Sygma. I emailed our IP Customer Service team and they must have sorted it because we haven't heard anything since. Just be firm with them.

Just to say yet again Tesco have sent us another FINAL demand, again forwarded to Payplan, but this time no response from Payplan, and if you see my other posts you will see I am less than happy with them at the moment, and beginning to regret the IVA, feeling quite sick again only 3 months in.

Hi indebtscared,

Please try and not worry. You have entered into this IVA which is a legally binding agreement. What can they do?

Just ignore them. I have currently made my 6th month payment and I still get the odd letter. A lot of these are computer generated so don't worry. Everything is covered. Just take them with a pinch of salt!

Hi,
Please please dont worry about this - as charlietill says - your IVA is legally binding - there is nothing they can do now. Just keep sending all correspendance to your IP.

We're 4 months into the plan and still get hounded by RBS. Even had a phonecall at 7.30am this morning. We just leave it to the capable hands of payplan tot sort them out.

I wouldn't have been very polite - especially at that time in the morning!

So do I indebtscared.

I'm just dreaming of my holidays when I finish the IVA. I can wait until then.

I would love a holiday and feel I need one but I doubt it's going to happen even though earlier in year we were given false hope of MIL paying for one. Oh well I'm 30 months in now so not too long to wait lol x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
