Hi

I just wanted to thank everyone who has been responding to my posts.

I feel like i moan about my problems constantly !

I must say, that before I found this site by chance, I was feeling rubbish about eveything, my mood is low, affecting my work, hard to run around and be happy with a todler with things on my mind..

Talking is really helping me, it lifts my spirits when I see a positive post, and reading other peoples success stories really helps too

I just wish i had found the site sooner

Always appreciative of your comments and suggestions/ ideas and advice

Adella,

You moan and rant all you like! We've all been like that and it is a great help to be able to offload on here with people who totally understand what is happening.

Why don't you think about doing a blog? A lot of us have done them and you would not believe how good it makes you feel to be able to write it all down. You also stand the chance of being able to win some vouchers!

Go for it Adella! Threads and posts disappear quickly - blogs will stay there and we love reading about peoples journeys and it is very therapeutic doing it.

It's an excellent idea and you could end up winning £25 in vouchers as there is a fortnightly blog winner!

I find to talk on the forum is excellent as we can't always tell our families or friends our debt problems, but here you can be yourself is what I find.

And we all love a bit extra!

Know what you mean though Lesley - I use this forum and my online friends as a sounding board when I need to!

I agree this forum is great and I am thankful that it was pointed out to me at the beginning of my IVA journey! It is nice to be able to have people on here that you can talk to and relax with. Bless my OH, I can talk to him about some things but I have a habit of going over the same old ground and he gets annoyed with me after a while! Can't blame him really. He'll manage to reassure me about something to do with the IVA then two days later I will start panicking about it again.! There's only so much the poor guy can take. So I figured I could perhaps annoy you guys instead. lol.

Same here Judo - I can sound off with hubby but other than that it's my forum friends I speak to about any problems.

You're not annoying Judo. I have only one friend I told about my IVA and six months down the line she says she is fed up of me talking about money, this forum and my friends on here are such a blessing and the only place I am able to open up.

Money can become obsessive if we're in this situation as it is to me, but on here it's easy to talk and everyone knows and appreciates what we're experiencing. x

Welcome to the forum Adella. Don't worry about moaning .. we all moan and to be honest it helps ... a lot.

When I first screwed up debt wise someone told me something I've never forgotten :-

Everyone needs a certain amount of money. Beyond that, we pursue money because we know how to obtain it. We don't necessarily know how to use it sensibly.

If we did we wouldn't be here LOL

The best psychological health comes from admitting your faults and recognizing they're caused by someone else.

You lot are just great..

when I start thinking too much about it at work, I quickly come on and have a read, it eases my mind for a while.

I think i'm driving my partner insane, I hate being a moaner to him, but you know what it's like when you have somethng in your head you know you need to sort.

My hands are tied until my court date, but that's not going to stop me from trying to find a way to ease some of the strain, it's amazing how you never think that this can be happening to you, and you hear other people go through it but never ever fully appreciate how horrible it makes someone feel.

I just hope other people out there that haven't found this forum yet, will do soon, just a in a few days im already feeling much more positive

cheers x

Hi Adella - Im just catching up on the Forum hun.

I love the forum & would not be this far without both in my IVA journey & personal problems I have had over the past few years. And I expect you will be hearing more about them as hubby gets a ear bashing & then I jump on here & have a rant!
I wish I had found the forum before I started my IVA journey.I'm so pleased when I see new members finding the site either before & beginning their journey to becoming debt free.

Glad your feeling more positive & I hope you get sorted x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X
