Oooooo we are so excited![:D]

Im going away with my husband & boys down to Milton Keynes to stay with my friend & her Husband & 2 children, so its probably not a rest break![:D]
Im fortunate that she is coming to pick us up & bring us home, as its on route for bringing her 2 eldest to see their Dad for the Easter break. Our Car would probably fall apart with the 400 mile journey there!

After having a terrible few months with my break down & recovery its just what we need! We have not left our home town for around 7 years - so a change will be good! Im finally going to visit Primark & Ikea & my husband & i have kept & saved our xmas/bday vouchers so they are going to get spent! My friend & I are having a girly night out & going to see a 3d film, Ive not been to the cinema since before the boys were born! We are taking the boys to a huge play center & there are plenty of parks to visit. They are super excited because it will be there first time away. In fact it will be the furthest Ive been away from home!

Ive had to make sure my parents have enough shopping, been taking my dad to garden centers for bits that he needs to potter in the garden with. My Dads a bit upset that Im going he gets frustrated & down with my Mum & having myself & husband across the road is his lifeline. But its only for a few days & my aunt & sister knows Im going & hopefully my sister will answer her phone if it rings. Knowing me I will probably still worry but will try not too.

I will be back on my PC next weekend & will keep an eye on the forum from my phone [:D]
3 more sleeps & 2 more days [:)] xxxx

Have a wonderful break, you deserve something nice for a change. Sounds like you have a full agenda planned.

Thank u all! I'm more excited than my boys at the mo! Hope the weather good Jan but it won't matter anyway. It does seem like alot planned but tickets are freebies to the cinema :) & my friend moved their a long time ago & it will be my first visit! So everyone is excited! I miss her loads & she always comes n stays n visits when through to visit family etc, it's just a shame I can't do the same in return, but she's fab & knows everything regarding the Iva & is totally supportive of us. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The dentist was not a good experience and hence I'm up at this unearthly hour too! I only went to bed a couple of hours ago but my mind won't shut off, I have to convince myself I'm going back to the Private dentist even though I can't afford it.

The NHS one was ok, but said I needed a filing now and possibly more and by then I'd switched off but did say something about a crown along the way...I just thought NO and had to get out of there!

Hope you get back to sleep soon. x

Oh bless you Hun, not a good experience on your first visit. You don't have to have work done if you don't want too. I think we tend to feel like we have to because they say so. I would be the same if they mentioned the words root canal, I would be out like a shot!
The government are no longer making nhs dentists work towards "drill & fill targets" & changing it to individual care targets. I thought that was quite interesting as my dentist has always been trying to take all my fillings out & replace them for years! Also they are talking about giving patients the right to have nhs treatment with your current Dentist, rather than having to change to a different one. Another point I found interesting because my last dentist was really nice, but He went private.
I still think you did really well Hun & I'm still really proud of you, it not easy to do when you have such a fear of dentists. Just getting in the chair is traumatic enough, so you got over a good few hurdles their Lesley. What you could do is book a app with the private one & compare what he says in comparison to the nhs dentist x

I do still have my appointment with my private dentist and the only reason I use his service is that his practice uses sedation which I have used twice in the past during treatment! How on earth I would afford that within an IVA I'm not sure but one thing is for sure, I'd find it somehow but only for a dire emergency, anything else can wait post IVA. x
