Does this mean that my IVA is now with Cleardebt or my IVA is still with Synergi but Synergi are owned by Cleardebt?

Not sure kitkat. I'm sure Size5 can clear that one up, and Cleardebt should contact you anyway to let you know what is happening.

My understanding is that the ownership of the IVA book is now with Cleardebt, but that the formal transfer of appointments from your current IP, to an IP of Cleardebt's choice is yet to happen. I am sure that Cleardebt will be soon writing to all clients to advise them of their current strategy with regard to their cases - but there is little to worry about, as when IVAs are transferred from one IP to another, no changes can be made without your permission or the agreement of creditors.

I would merely sit tight and continue to make your payments in the usual manner until you are notified officially.

ClearDebt has indeed bought the majority of the assets and businesses that formerly belonged to Relax Group plc.

All IVA’s that were administered by Synergi Partners Limited will now be administered currently by the same staff at Synergi but under control of ClearDebt. All Supervisor appointments will be transferred by way of a blanket transfer by Order of the High Court, hopefully this week into the name of David Mond.

If any person wants further information, David has indicated that he would be pleased for them to email him direct, see http://www.iva.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?wh ... _ID=250901 for his direct e mail address.

It is natural that people may worry at this point, but as Mel indicates, there will be very little material change for the vast majority of clients.

Regards.

Hopefully the people employed in the office at Synergi won't lose their jobs.

Oh dear! Sounds like the Administrators did not contact the utility suppliers in time! I am sure this has now been sorted out given the new ownership of the assets.
