Max, it's not good to post details on here - people tend to get inundated with spam afterwards!

I will add Tom54 as a FF so if he wants your details he can contact me.

If he comes back Max and says about the FF and adds me, then I can help him out.

Don't know why I can't find him though.

Tom, I can't get the FF to work. I have e-mailed Kallis with the name and address of the specialst lawyers. I have a friend who is a solicitor and he tells me that they have taken on big guns and have won. They probably are not in your area but that makes no difference. I hope they can help you - the treatment you are receiving is outrageous.

I really hope it is sorted sooner rather than later Tom without. That a company actually sees sense and reasoning without the need of legal help.

The whole situation is terriable
Back to square one but what dunt kill you makes you stronger!!

I quite agree with you fingerscrossed; litigation should be avoided if at all possible but sometimes legal help is essential. There was a police officer here last year who secured an out of court settlement through legal intervention because he was defamed in a management developement report! For the life of me I cannot see how Tom's Bank can call him a security risk because he is on an IVA - he can't be blackmailed - he is on the IR! If he takes bribes he will go to jail - and so will the individual offering it. The way he is being treated is outrageous. There has to be a senior official somewhere who will use common sense and see the type of responsible person Tom is. As Melanie said - the man should be congratulated not hit below the belt.

Tom - I can't find you on the FF bit of my profile for some reason.

I shall email Admin and ask them to pass my email address on to you so that I can forward the details on.

Hopefully Tom you won't have to employ legal assistance.

An investigation is a normal step to take, even though it can be stressful. I'm more concerned of the lack of information you seem to have. In the least you should know how long the investigation is likely to take.

Hopefully, once all the facts have been taken into account, there will be no further action.

If you do have to take legal advice, check your home insurance as sometimes you are covered for employment law issues.

I've emailed tom with details of a solicitor if he needs it.

Hope it doesn't get that far.

personally I think the use of a solicitor is way down the line yet.

I would certainly be pushing for a date when the investigation will be concluded. Normally its within 2 weeks in my experience...no-one wants to suspend anyone on full pay indefinitely.

Swans Girl, the firm given to Tom will NOT act until all the relevant internal procedures have been gone through. They act, both for plaintiff and defendant, so they have experience of both sides. As you say, any legal intervention is a long way off - hopefully, it won't be needed at all.

Hi Max, I'm sure they won't step in until deemed necesary. Also good to have someone in the wings ready.[;)]

I'm a HR manager specialising in employment law so will offer as much advice as needed. [:)]
