got home and emptied mail box, had a statement to myself from Tesco
baring in mind we are 18 months post successfully completed 6 year IVA.
The statement was for 1 of the credit cards that was in the IVA, it showed a balance obout 2/3rd of credit limit, and no interest, no charges etc etc
but was asking for full payment in the normal credit card statement way by June 22nd.
i phoned them up and pinned in the acc no, when i got a man on the phone and he asked for account verification details, i refused and told him the account was settled as part of an IVA, and i had relevent paperwork to prove (even if not to hand) i said i expected not to be troubled again,a nd he said it was probably a computer glitch?????
We now have a new tesco credit card account, they should not be trying to link our name and address
any one else had this[?]

That's bizarre! I haven't heard of this happening before but yu could use the card to help rebuild your credit rating.

our credit rating is fine, if you do 6 years its good soon after you finish the IVA.

As long as someone is giving you lots of green ticks it doesn't matter where they come from! x

The only professional comment that I can make is that Tesco ought to get their house in order with regard to their paperwork. The letter should not have been sent to you if the debt was properly included in your IVA.

BOL ... I think the statement was asking for payment of the old debt that was settled with the IVA, unless I have mis-understood the post.
IVA Completed August 2011

Funnily enough (!) I have now had 2 bills - one from Very and one from Santander both showing the IVA final payment amounts and both asking for payment.

Needless to say, no phone calls - can't be bothered - just polite but firm letters sent to both asking them to re-check their information, put their houses in order and never to bother me again!!
