You are very welcome on board and I am pleased that you have chosen my firm to represent you.

With regard to your offer it is exceptionally high, given that the average return in an IVA today is around 24p in the £. The payments will be based entirely upon affordability, but we do need to be mindful of creditor guidelines. I, along with my team, will discuss this with you as soon as we receive your paperwork through.

Look forward to speaking with you personally very soon.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

You'll be fine with Mel, an excellent team.

It's all ok. I've just received an email from Tamsyn. It's just me being impatient...

We've had an office move for the Nominee team over the last few weeks which has disrupted systems a little - all done now and glad that you have heard from Tam.

I've received a very "nice" email from Minicredit today:

We would like to remind you that your MiniCredit overdue loan balance is £404.00.

If we are unable to recover full amount within next 10 days we'll send Your account to THE DOORSTEP COLLECTOR and You will incur extra costs.

We may also contact Your employer and start legal action against You. We also report the status of Your outstanding account to Credit reference agencies. All this process affects your credit score adversely and ability to receive credit in the future.

Best regards

Minicredit.co.uk
Debt Collection Team

They are the worst payday loans company I think...
The original loan was £150 and £200 to repay...Now they want £404...

Do I need to worry?

Thanks

Don't worry - they are unlikely to send anyone round. They are unlikely to start legal action either - cost them too much to do it.

If a debt collector does turn up then you don't have to speak to them.

Speak to Mel's office about it as you are looking at doing your IVA with her team.

Hi,

They are adding interest at £13.5 per day from what I can see...

So about 6 weeks waiting time for IVA to start it will be another £570 to my total debt...

Can they actually do that? From a loan of £150 to £980...

Thanks

They can do it as their fees are quite clear to start with(in the micro small print!!!) but dont worry about it. If the IVA is being put together by Mel's team you are in safe hands.

They can add charges up to the date of IVA acceptance but don't worry - the charges will all be included.

Normally the creditors meeting is about 16 days from when the IP receives the signed proposal back from you. I was so impatient I paid to send mine by next day delivery!!
