Has anyone else had problems with Accuma? I am finding them a nightmare. My first payment was supposed to be taken out on 1 August and it hasn't been. I have rung every day and either no-one answers or I get put through to different people who can't help. All my emails have been ignored. I now don't know what to do. I also haven't received any paperwork for me to sign after it was accepted.

I really regret going with Accuma. The communication is just terrible.

Hi
This is why I prefer people pay via standing order rather that rely on direct debit.
With a standing order you know when your payment will leave your account but with a direct debit you rely on the other person,in your case Accuma,to call for it.
I suggest that you phone and ask your IP or someone senior to phone you back.Take the name of the person that you speak to initially.

I bet you will hve a reply in this thread from an Accuma representative pretty soon. I have noticed that about them, on a number of occasions, on this forum, previously.
It is a shame that it sometimes takes this forum for them to take note of their clients.
If you want to share your experiences with others, you can rate different aspects of their performance on http://www.iva.com
If you have not received a copy of the chairman's report following the meeting of creditors, then you should contact them and demand to speak to your Supervisor and demand it is sent to you. They cannot decline it since, correct me if I am wrong, the Act and Rules require them to send it to you. Do not accept being put through to anyone else. If they have failed to assist in the past, then you have the right to speak to your Supervisor ... you have the right anyway, but if the staff are not showing any willing then you need to contact someone in authority and explain the obstacles you have so far encountered and hope that Accuma will learn from it.

Tell it like it is.

Thanks Cybus.

I will ring and ask to speak to my IP again on Monday morning. It's really getting me down now, I am all ready to make my payments and all I want them to do is take the money from me and for me to sign my paperwork. I have been waiting three weeks now.

I am starting to feel depressed and feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall.

I have already rated Accuma on the site and gave them 7/10. I think I was a little too generous as the communication has been awful from day 1.

I will definitely set up a standing order once I manage to speak to someone to get their details! I never thought I would be this desperate to actually pay out money!

Hi Poppy

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, I'm surprised to hear that you have been unable to speak to anyone in order to sort out your payment and that you haven't received any paper work yet. Do try again and ask to speak to your IP if you do not feel you get an adequate level of service from your first point of contact and make sure you let your IP know your experience so that they can do something to prevent this happening in the future.

Hope this helps

Dear Poppy
Sorry to hear of of your troubles.
I must say I am little surprised you are having trouble with Accuma as I have never had any trouble with them, In fact I think they have been great.

Andy

Is what Baz says above correct? Don't have a problem with it, just interested.

If it IS true then I would complement them on their lack of censorship because the odd unkind word has been said about Accuma on here recently!!
