too right Carole-I would praise good service but it is quite rare nowadays-anytime we have been abroad we have never encountered bad service-on the contrary it makes you compare their customer service to what we get here.Maybe its an English thing!!
Its like all the abuse you get by phone and letter when you are setting up the iva-constantly repeating that you ARE doing something about your debts. They obviously dont get any job satisfaction and you couldnt pay me enough for that job.
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017
extra year thank's to NRAM

I couldn't be in one of those call centres either. They are just trying to earn commission as I doubt the basic is good but I couldn't bully and threaten people the way they do.

I never understand why we put up with poor customer service, I always complain. Like the others I also give praise too...on the odd occassion I have to go to a supermarket, if the checkout operator is pleasant etc, I make the effort to tell the supervisor.

Another thing that annoys me, is customers who consistently talk or should that be shout into their mobiles whilst shopping. How rude!

I don't shout but I am guilty of talking on my mobile whilst shopping! I catch up with lots of calls and texts whilst out and about.

There’re several problems at the shops as all you said, that is why I prefer to do my shopping online.

I much prefer going to the shops for normal shopping - pick up a few bargains that way.

I am also guilty of using my mobile, but not often and it's usually when the daughter has phoned me!

I did try online shopping for a couple of weeks a few years ago but the shelf life of products weren't as long as if I'd gone in person to choose my goods which is why I stopped using it. x

It doesn't bother me if people talk on their phone while they are shopping, but I think it's rude to do so when they are actually being served.

Regarding online shopping, I prefer to choose my own food rather than let someone else choose it for me.

Ooh I say Julie! I went into Tesco and got two nice big bags of shopping with vouchers only had to pay 86p, then I went to Morrisons and used vouchers there too as one perk of hubby's job is he can fill up at Morrisons on his fuel card and keep the £5.00 vouchers they give so we've got a fair few over the year. He puts in at least £80 worth a week.

I'm dreading the food shop which will either be tomorrow afternoon or Christmas Eve, and I get so annoyed when I see other people totally laden with hundreds of pounds worth of food, most of which will probably get thrown away!

Our Sainsburys open at 6am tomorrow and Friday! Is your hubby working those hours Julie?

Morrisons is open at 8am so I'll be home from both before 9 tomorrow.

It'll be the one day of the year I choose to lie in...that will be so typical!

Lesley, hubby is working silly hours and has been for the past 2 weeks. 12 hours shifts and some to make sure the store ticks like clockwork. He has Christmas day off [:)]

Be careful if you're out and about, apparently icicles are falling from guttering etc...very dangerous.
