Try not to think about the IVA, you've done your bit and its out of your hands at the moment.
Hope the weathers better where your daughters gone...I'm just outside Porthcawl and its blooming tipping down, not ideal if you're in a caravan....though children don't seem to worry about that [:D]
Ida I have everything crossed that your F&F is accepted - one less thing to worry about if it is.
It's raining here in the Midlands and we have had thunder!
I'm sure your little one will have a great time at Weston. I would be taking bets as to whether they will spot the sea![:D]

Thing is, he has been so ill for a year, I mean unable to eat, ill, pure and simple. Now we know the name of what made him ill, it doesn't make him any more ill does it? It just means we know what the problem is and what the remedy is.
11puppies? Now that IS a mother with things to do!!!!!!!![:D]Ta both xxxxxxxxxx
I'm glad you've had positive news about your IVA Ida.
You're right about your hubby's illness - now that it has a name you can fight it. I'm so glad you're feeling stronger, but don't forget that we're all here for you xxx
hi Ida
im not far from your daughter im in Bristol. Weather not been to good here . If the tumour is in the oesphagus he will more than likely be under the gastro team, we are neuro and do ENT (ear nose and throat) area so alot of tracheostomies, if i can ever help i will try.
Heidi xx
The tumour is in a bad place, I mean nowhere is good is it, but the surgeon was fine yesterday, good in fact but he said that high up, touching so many vital organs, pleura for a kick off...........even after chemo the operation will be far more invasive and technically difficult than others would be.
oh no! He said he could do it, Skippy, I listened to his description of how hard it will be and why and I just point blank asked, "Can you do it?" He said "Yes of course I can, it will simply be a long and complicated operation"
Ida, Really pleased to see you sounding so much more positive. Obviously with Chemo and the operation it will be a little while before your husband is feeling better but we will be here for you all the way. I have had same illness but not in the same place and I found all the medical care that I recieved was first class and I am sure your husband will receive the same and there are so much more advanced these days. I wish all your family all the best through this difficult time but we are all here for you.
Take Care.

It sounds from what you are saying Ida the surgeon is very confident, it is going to be a long road to recovery and chemo and radiotherapy are not easy but they have brilliant results
Hi Ida, Glad to hear the positive news on both fronts. I am sure the F&F would be acceptable. And the prognosis after chemo and radiotherapy should be fine. Fingers crossed for you.
