I hope he does Ida, at least then you'll know what you're facing. Are you going to chase up the doctors this week? I know you shouldn't have to, but sadly these days you have to keep pushing.

Lots of love to you both xxx

Ida, a friend had similar trouble to you in getting hold of a consultant - she telephoned and spoke to the Chief Exeutive's Assistant and the result was a consultant telphoned her - you could try that. J

I rang again yesterday.

Faithful promise it's this Thursday again, letter to confirm to follow.

If it isn't Thursday, I am going to be contacting the chief exec.

Hi Ida

So so sorry to hear your news. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your husband and children.

Both myself and children have had to regularly go to hospital over the last 9 years due to conditions we have. I agree with the a and e suggestion if you get no joy. Failing that I have called my consultants secretary and told her I would be down within the hour and would sit there until I was seen - I did get seen. Can you get your GP to intervene also - I found mine a godsend at times as he would ring ahead for the kids or me and that would clear the pathway.

I wish I could take it all away for you - I know we all feel like that.

Warmest hugs

Poppyfairy

Thank you all, I truly am overwhelemed with all of your kindness, I will never forget it and will repay you one day. (I am not vanishing, just reading back)

Tomorrow, 11.15, equal parts terror and relief.

I will tell any news here.

I also know they want more tests next week, Wednesday that will be no letter, me and my phone calls established that.

THANK YOU ALL AGAIN.
