Thanks elv5 and Melanie. They have not yet sent any CCJ details but I was concerned as to the general process. I was pretty sure from the postings on here that they first needed to secure a judgement, but a little knowledge from others sets my mind at rest for the remainder of the evening.

My wife has today had a test from Barclaycard advising that if we do not contact them they will apply for a charging order on our home. Is this usual method for advising a customer that they intend to apply for a C/O or are they simply trying to scare her. We are about to apply for an IVA but things...

In year 4 if there was equity then a person would be expected to have the property valued and make best effo...

I have been reading the posts on here for sometime but have never really seen any post that gives guideance on the equity in a home. If a person is a home owner and has equity greater than the amount that will be available through the monthly dividend payments and the addition that would be availabl...

Thats good news.
I wish Barclays were the same. I spoke to someone there this morning at 8.15am and they have been back on twice more. Its stupid. They all say they are putting notes on the system and you will not be contacted again for a few weeks. MBNA are probably the worst.

It was a surprise to me exactly how fair the OR was even though I ended up having 2 meetings. The first was 5 hrs long and the second w...
