I think the way the country is going at the moment Melanie it you will probably find it will be companies such as yours that will become overworked from both individuals and Businesses. It is all very confusing and you can understand why people will enter into arrangements with these "Rescue" compan...

Is this what they refer to as a Pre Pack Liquidation. Sound more like something from a KFC Menue

Melanie. Could they not simply look into a CVA. I appreciate that the business would still have to be viable and be in a position to create a monthly revenue to pay out the agreed payments to the creditors. This would at least enable them to continue the business.

Thanks elv5 and Melanie. They have not yet sent any CCJ details but I was concerned as to the general process. I was pretty sure from the postings on here that they first needed to secure a judgement, but a little knowledge from others sets my mind at rest for the remainder of the evening.

My wife has today had a test from Barclaycard advising that if we do not contact them they will apply for a charging order on our home. Is this usual method for advising a customer that they intend to apply for a C/O or are they simply trying to scare her. We are about to apply for an IVA but things...

Oh - I think I now understand. So in the position where the equity is less than that owed to creditors the IVA process proceeds in the same manner as would if no equity existed, until Year 4. In year 4 if there was equity then a person would be expected to have the property valued and make best effo...

I have been reading the posts on here for sometime but have never really seen any post that gives guideance on the equity in a home. If a person is a home owner and has equity greater than the amount that will be available through the monthly dividend payments and the addition that would be availabl...

Dont worry there are options. I have just got a vehicle through MSG Leading who utilise Ductons. It seems that almost all of the Sub Prime Car providers use Dunctons. They were very helpful and base the lending criteria on your disposable income and not your credit report. Obviously they charge more...

Thats good news.

I wish Barclays were the same. I spoke to someone there this morning at 8.15am and they have been back on twice more. Its stupid. They all say they are putting notes on the system and you will not be contacted again for a few weeks. MBNA are probably the worst.

Evening to you all. I was wondering if someone could offer me some advise. 10 years ago I declared Volunt. Br due to Sole Trader debtors failing to pay there bills. It was a surprise to me exactly how fair the OR was even though I ended up having 2 meetings. The first was 5 hrs long and the second w...
