Thanks for your replies. I have since had a reply from Payplan and they have confirmed in writing that I do not have to pay any extra until next year! Next year it will be the 50/50 rule. Great news me thinks!!

I rang my IP today to say that I now have a 2nd job and how much would my payments increase to. They said that my payments will not increase until my next review in July 2011! is this right? I don't want to have to cough up a lump sum next year?

I may have the opportunity of a 2nd job. This would be on a 'self employed basis' I contacted the tax office and they said I would have to fill in a self assessment for which is ok but obviously I would want to pay my extra tax contribution straight away and not wait for the bill to come in? I don't know about you Wickerwish but it all seems so final, which is really strange seeing as I never felt the same when I took the loans etc out even tho they were going to take years to repay!! signed the proposal now will get it in the post.

I have been advised by my IP that on debts of over £30,000 they suggest that I should offer pay £130.00 per month (which is what I can afford). Has anyone else been able to pay this figure on such a high debt. I am sure my IP (payplan) knows the score but I dont want my Iva to fail!

I told my IP today and explained my reasons (that I hoped to settle it as it is only small, but not small enough for me to settle in the next couple of weeks)but if I am going to get out of this mess I think honesty is the best policy.
