Wow what a feeling!!! Last payment left the bank yesterday. The last 6 years have gone quite quick to be honest but helps we had no major problems. This forum has been fantastic with responses to the few questions I did have which kept me right. Onwards and upward on to our new chapter

Can anyone help?? My son turns 16 next week and has managed to get himself a part time job. He needs to open a bank account with a cashcard but I'm worried he'll be declined. Any advice please.

Yes that is what i think and yes we have the £5k clause. I don't think we should have the extension.

But does it not just apply on the 85% whether you could remortgage or not? There would be no equity at that stage?

Well not overly filled with confidence. Emailed creditfix last Wednesday got an automated reply saying would receive a response within 72 hours. Still waiting......
