Since then we have kept our noses clean, both got credit cards but with minimal balances on and with mainstream lenders, Halifax and tsb. All payments on mortgage and credit card never late. O...

Hi thank you all. Yes we were in an iva which was paid in full plus statuatory interst and fees. I have only just sent the matter to the ombudsman. Barclays possibky only re eived a small proportion of the original debt when they sold it on, not knowing that it would subsequently be paid in full. Th...

Hi all I feel as if I am going mad. Barclays sold my original debt of around £14k via tge insolvency exchange. I have had confirmation today via tge insolvency exchange that We paid the debt in full plus SI. Barclays wrote to us in August stating they had neen instructed by the FCA that they had to ...

I have already complained, they tell me they have "fully investigated" the matter which they patently have not or they would be able to see that they had sold the debt. Further investigation should then reveal that thd debt purchasing company had been paid in full. They have logged this non-debt wit...

Some people may recall my post in august which said although we had paid our iva up in 2012, 100% plus Stat interest and fees, we had received a letter from barclays demanding over 10k (from a debt included with our iva). After many conversations by phone, they decided it had been written off. This ...

Well, not quite as strightforward, barclays said on the phone that they have had no payment out of the iva. My completion statement shows that all our debts were paid 100%. My ip has conirmed this and has suggested barclays ring her, they have declined to do this, instead are treating the matter as ...

Further to my earlier post, we studied our original iva agreement which listed clearly barclays and the debt in question as part of the agreement. Am so stressesd as although we cleared our iva in full over 2 years ago, how can barclays now demand money which was part of the agreemeny? Am now worrie...

I just feeldevastated that such a thing ciuld happen bearing in mind that our iva was paid up 100%, nothing was written off, so there is no debt to Barclays or anyone else. Everything was finalised over 2 years ago and todays letter was the first thing, its not like we only partially paid the iva an...
