The undeniable fact on reducing your debt relies on the rule of law and not the rule of man like in some tribal society.The Personal,ethical or biblical teachings will not get your iva accepted.Creditors operate within the law not pled barginning.I personally would not differential between someone w...

Interest rates up means 'Recovery' as they tell us...however no one wants it as then mortgages go up.First time buyers shunned.So what does people want?? Its one or the other.Wages are cut,pay increase curbed in the meantime. Thats why all this economic stimulus talk is just rubbish.A big lure and h...

hahaha, another Bank charge saga! The firms promoting debt aviodance say if the Consumer credit act can be proven to be unfair their the debt is uneforceable.OK. 100,000 cases are to be heard like those early bank charge cases. But now only test cases will run to decide....the courts will be all clo...

If I was you just apply for a new debit card before your IVA kicks in from a new Bank.Use that instead of the cheap and crappy cash cards from basic bank accounts or this 'secret' CC you are talking about. You want to cancel that CC you are thinking of keeping quiet about.You can't have 'credit' fro...

Kashmere, In the fianance industry,security services etc employers will delve into credit files a bit more so I see your point of your concern.So even if you are able to do a job, not geting personal clearance is a problem. Try other jobs that do not prejudice bankruptcy or insolvency - which I thin...

The IVA isn't the Banks absolution handed to debtors.If the banks have it their way, then people will be paying till they are dead! Don't confuse an Iva with Banks writing off debt voluntarily.(They don't!}

Its not about (a) savings account or 50 savings accounts.
As Andy implies,its the money SAVED after your IVA was approved,should be no problems and with extra income declared. No different in principle to paying the right taxes and not tax evading.
It not clear from Munl where the 2K came from???

Natwest,if that is your bank, have updated their terms and conditions on all their accounts and its worthwhile to read them as they are sent to you.I have a Natwest Step account serviced by the Solo card. I don't agree on the charges but the Banks are saying they are not penalties but a charge for t...

An interesting post on a business IVA. Its obvious there are pork barrel politics going on here in this IVA case,no offence,and drawing on an aphorism - 'there is enough pork in all this skermish to keep the pigs in jobs' With this particular IVA the logistical benefits for all is thrown out of the ...

Talk about board room upheaveals.If you only had boardroom members like Sir Fred Goodwin, their members bent over backwards and he could do no wrong in their eyes.That's a beachhead not to be repeated. Isn't there a Chairman's view in your company on your IVA and your standing in the company in all ...
