Thanks for being so helpful everyone! We were with Baker and Tilley but the iva changed to debt lifeboat. The provider originally suggested thaey might be able to sort out a further payment break, but then must have not agreed to this as we have already had 7 months when I was on maternity! Our budg...

Thanks for everyones replies. It was my £500 overdraft and £450 with Barclaycard. The overdraft was given to me automatically when I opened the bank account when starting the iva. I had the barclaycard before the iva but the balance was nill. We used it to buy a new fridge freezer and a new exhaust ...

Wondering if you can advise me as to whether or not you think a full and final settlement would be accepted! Myself and my husband started an iva in May 2006 with Baker Tilley/now Debt Lifeboat. We have paid each payment until September last year when a 6 month payment break was accepted due to me h...

I have been on maternity leave and my IVA has given me a 6 month payment break. I am due to start paying again in March £730.00 but my wage for this month is only just over £400 Statutory Maternity Pay. My husband pays the mortgage and all utility bills and we don't have anything spare. Do you think...
