fair enough it might not be amex's issue but would NCO be under the same obligations to keep sending me statements - interesting question! I wonder if anybody else thought they were close to paying it off only to suddenly find themselves with an extra £600 to pay off.

cheers for the replies so far, in terms of acting on my behalf, no problem with that. What is most annoying is that they've only just decided now to let stepchange now the final balance - after 4 years! Surely they have to send me statements etc

In a DMP with Stepchange and all was going well. All I owed NCO-Amex was £25. I go and ask NCO for an up to date balance and low and behold it jumps to over £600! They don't have the decency to tell me, I've just noticed it on the Stepchange website. NCO took over the debt from Amex in Sept 2009 and...

been with them for a couple of years now, they don't have guidelines but do make notes on your budget for creditors if it looks like you spend too much on certain things - i.e. petrol etc

I've been with CCCS for a coupe of years and its been hassle free. Recently a number of my creditors have started charging interest. Not a hugh amount given the outstanding credit but when you add it up its close to £200 a month out of the £860 I pay. Just noticed today that the Coop have charged £8...

Hi, in a DMP with CCCS and recently received a letter from Citi Cards (who have been really good) to say they have sold the debt on to Opus, a credit card run by Bank of Scotland. Anybody had dealings with Opus, are they likely to still run with the DMP or do they try and play hardball!
cheers[:)]
