Hi everyone, Was wondering if you could help me? My wages have been incorrect for the last two months and all of my pay is going to go on for next month hopefully. This will look like I have been paid a lot extra. Do I need to worry about this? Will I be expected to hand some over even if the last m...

Thanks, am I right in thinking though that you can only have two payment breaks over the term of your iva? If so, I would rather do without incase something major happens in the future. Hopefully not.

Our tv has packed in and although the guy has said it's knackered he can fix the motherboard but it will be £150 - £200. A brand new one of the same size is only £380 so we don't know what to do for the best. We don't even have the money to have it fixed at the moment but is it too early to ask to m...

It's great I have sent to off but not to O2. Ig you google mobile phone recycler comparison and click on one of the links, they check them all and tell you who will give you the most money. We have found mobilephoneexchange.com the best and have recently sent two off. We have opted for the argos vou...

It's times like this when it becomes even more stressful. Nobody knows about our IVA either but agree with the others that there are more people in our position than we think. Do you have pets? If you do would they believe that you have no-one to look after them? That is the one we are using at the ...

Annoys me though when they print things about people spending more in a day than they earn in a month. I don't know anyone that does that and hope that these are a minority. We could of cleared our debt had it only been the loans but it was the whacking great big loan that came with the mortgage tha...

It's so annoying. It makes my husband and I think the rules need to be stricter but then, there are the genuine cases, the poor people who are really struggling and need a second chance.
I didn't realise that the OR can decide not to make you bankrupt.

Thanks Jan. Debbie that cannot be good for you either! I don't get sick I just have a really bad stomach and panic attacks. It's strange that a place can make you feel that bad. I tell myself most of the time that they are only people and cannot really do much to me but then my boss is no help when ...

Thanks everyone. I will call Mel's office soon. I know I can't be unhappy for the next six years but our IVA is really important to us. Like many others it took us a while to finally go through with it and face up to things!
Thanks again for the support x x

Thanks for everyones advice. I have stayed in that job for four years longer than I should. I was fearful of leaving before as it was paying our debts every month but it has just got worse and worse there. I have had a couple of job offers in the last few months but was petrified of taking them as t...

Thanks Andy. Between the torment I feel for my job and the restrictions of our IVA, I hate living at the minute. There are people far worse off than me only sometimes you forget that don't you?!
Poor husband and little girl are the ones that have to put up with me!

Has anyone changed job whilst in an IVA? I mean to one that pays considerably less? I hate my job, I cry going there everyday as I hate it so much. It's the place and the bully people. Not that I am calling anyone that does, I could not go to the doctors and be signed off sick as it would be on my r...

We're with Melanie too. We were in your position not so long ago and that was my constant worry. Melanie and her team are brilliant so you have no worries there. I think the fear you feel is everything is out of your own hands and you cannot influence the decision. Believe it or not these two weeks ...
